Sakura Trees, Homecoming & Pizza on the Mountain

Konnichiwa! (kohn-nee-chee-wah) It's the start of rainy season here and I haven't been the best about updating the blog, so what better then a rainy day to update on our adventures here in Japan.

These photos were taken during what is known as "Sakura" season here, or more commonly known as cherry blossom flowers. These trees surround you and they are beautiful. We enjoyed many picnic's at local parks under these trees! It's truly a sight to see! 

Easter Sunday in front of our sailor's ship.

Pizza On the Mountain is a place located  on the side of beautiful green mountain where you  are given a pizza making lesson and followed by making painting pottery. They cook the pizza in a wood burning stove, and it's delicious! We went while it was pouring rain outside, paint pottery and listening to the sound of the rain beating uptop this old building was  such a fun and relaxing experience.
