The last two months have been a whirlwind and we have been from one end of the coast to the other! April was a busy month for us, with my birthday, N's birthday and a trip to Charleston, South Carolina where we met up with friends we were stationed with in Guam. We had a great trip and got to do a lot of walking and sight seeing. We visited the Boone Plantation, S.C Aquarium, Downtown Charleston, Folly Beach, S.C, and went on a haunted jail ghost tour.

By May 8th, we were packed out of our condo and officially "homeless"! With our belongings on their way to Japan, we made our way to Wilmington Beach, South Carolina for a good friend's wedding. We had a good time, and got to check out a creepy zoo. From there we headed back to Jacksonville for a day and then made our way west! We drove through the night from Florida to Texas. It was roughly 13.5 hours and Roman slept almost the entire time with a few pit stops to eat.
We started our with big dreams, and wanted to take fun pictures every time we entered a new state, we quickly learned when traveling with a infant and two dogs, time is of the essence and there is no time for extra pit stops! I wish I could have counted the stops for gas, feedings, and emergency diaper blow outs!
During our trip we "celebrated" our 4 year wedding anniversary and my first mother's day. Both involved fast foods and gas stations! I guess there is always next year ;)
From there we drove to Willup, NM where we met up with family who took R and I to Arizona, and N headed all the way back to San Antiono, TX where he has been for the last month for training. As you can see, it's been one crazy month and R is now quite the traveler! In July we have a California vacation planned where he can finally say he has been from one coast to another! By mid July he will add international traveler to that title!
